Staying In Shape-What I Have Learned About
Staying "In Shape"
Bryon Zirker
Whether you are young or older there are some good lessons that
can be learned from people who have trained for many years. I
have been involved in martial arts, bodybuilding and cardio for over
twenty years and have learned the do's and don'ts of working out.
These are the biggest lessons I have learned.
1. Use variety of exercises in your routine. Break it up. Change
it around. This serves two purposes. It helps with the boredom
factor and keeps you body surprised by shocking the muscles.
This will help either increase or maintain flexibility and also
add strength and muscle.Make sure to warm up and stretch
before you get into the core of your workout to insure against
any unnecessary injuries.
2. If you are a beginner or very serious competitor try to gain
an edge on your competition you should consider a good coach.
Many athletes are using coaches these days. As with any aspect
of life, working with an expert will help you get ahead much faster.
3. Always, always eat to lose fat and provide nutrition to the
body for optimal mental awareness.Stay away from junk and
eat frequently through out your day. Use healthy snacks. Good
nutrition and sleep allows for a speedy recovery between your
work out sessions.
