Protection For Your Heart And Your Gums

By Bryon Zirker

Here's something. Taking care of your teeth can save
your life. Having gum disease is a very risky situation
in that it raises your risk of dying from a heart attack.
50 percent of heart attacks are fatal.

The Dental Longitudinal Study by the Department of
Veterans Affairs showed this: 1,147 men tracked for
18 years who had severe gum disease showed a 150
percent greater risk for heart disease and 2 times the
fatal heart attacks when compared to main control
group. This evidence showing the connection is very
convincing.

Hmmm! what a coincidence that the antioxidants
recommended by some health experts for your heart
also help your gums:
Vitamin E repair damaged gum tissue. 400 IUs per day.
Folic acid regenerates healthy gums. Oral rinses containing
folic acid can be quite effective for the treatment of gum
disease. There are dentists that have begun supplying
these rinses, try to find a dentist that is uses holistic
treatments.

CQ10 can reverse heart disease and gum disease. Try
60mg a day. 100mg per day could be used to reverse
gum disease.

Good old Vitamin C will reduce gingivitis inflammation.
1000mgper day is fine.

Almonds For Good heart Health

By Bryon Zirker

If you are indulging in high carb meals keep in mind that
high carbs can lead to obesity and ill health. something
that will help regulate your blood sugar and keep it in
check would be to consume some almonds at the same
time.

In the Journal of Nutrition a recent article brought to light
that almonds actually balance blood sugar following the
consumption of high carb delights. One serving of these
fabulous nuts can stop blood sugar increases caused by
high-glycemic foods. Remember High-Glycemic foods
include bread, pasta and grains.

Almonds act as antioxidants, which has a direct affect on
your heart. They act to neutralize free radicals that are
released by high-carbproducts. Almonds are a great source
of protein and the following:omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E,
magnesium, fiber, potassium, calcium, and iron. Also they
fight diabetes and heart disease which is very good news.

Aerobics Speeds Aging-Say no to Aerobics

By Bryon Zirker

For 20 years or more it has been known that a persons lung
capacity is an indicator of longevity. The facts found in the
famous "Framingham Heart Study" put forth this: The bigger
that your lungs are the longer your life will be.

Regrettably aerobics instead of lengthening your life actually
makes you more prone to chronic disease by shrinking your
lungs. This is how your body copes with the long term effects
of stress that aerobics puts on it. So aerobics which was supposed
to help you live longer does the opposite.

This news is disturbing. Since your lungs naturally decrease in
size with age. It is important to do activities that increase lung
size not decrease it. Aerobics speeds up your aging and will spell
your end early. Try doing wind sprints if you run or weight training.
Short term high intensity exercise is best.
